Bucket-wheel Reclaimer Boom

I've had lots of emails this week about this incident. A bucket-wheel reclaimer fell of the back of its low-loader as it went over a median strip while rounding a corner. The reclaimer is 55m long, and weighs 200t, and has a $M7 value.

Thanks to everyone who sent through some photos!

Bucket-Wheel Excavator Collapse

This is the only other collapsed bucket-wheel excavator I've seen, apart from Goonyella-Riverside's famous incident. It looks like it might be part of a coal stacker-reclaimer system.

All I know about these photos is that it occurred in March 2007.

Look at this picture. Three BWE's in one shot!
