Dragline Bench Failure

I recently received a bunch of old dragline bench failures. This is the first of them to come through. This dragline is fairly lucky, only falling a little bit off balance. It would still be a major recovery effort.

Judging by the old Ford Falcon in the first photo, these photos must have been from the early 80's.

This looks like the dragline that fell into the ColoWyo pit outside of Craig Colorado in '81 or so...

This is DRE 19 at Norwich Park Mine. It is two different incidents. Both are bridge failures

This is not the Colowyo 1300BE dragline accident of April 1985. The Colowyo accident was due to a loss of friction under the tub that allowed it to slide horizontally to the pit edge and then boom first into the pit (not a bridge failure).
