A Close Call

Some photos sent in by a reader this week. They come from a gold mine in Nevada, USA. The operator fell asleep at the wheel, fortunately, the rill did its job.

Safety Rill

Good job by the safety rill here. This mine has rills dividing all heavy traffic, so this truck didn't cross over to the oncoming lane.

Not a bad effort. This rear dumper must have been doing some good speed to rip off his front wheel when he hit the safety rill.
