Derailment Near Gladstone

This coal train derailment happened on the 8th February, near Gladstone, Queensland. I particularly like the 'ejected' operators cab. Is that a design feature?

Yes thank god, would not have liked to be in the ejector seat pod that came off the middle loco's
It would have just being a washing machine on spin cycle, especially with all the sharp things inside the cab, stove, throttles, oven etc
