Rear Dumper Under Water

Judging from the rockslide, it looks like the haul-road has failed underneath the truck.

This is from Mt Keith, 2002. A good man died in this accident, and FYI there are still people around the industry that are sensitive about these photos.

hey anonymous, I was just about to post the same thing. I know we enjoy looking at them, but some of these are fatalities...please keep that in mind.

these photos haunt me, dissappointed to see them just splashed around. They used to be secured away, hope it was worth the 2 min of fame to whoever released them

I'm glad to see them. I'm new to using heavy machinery - I have an 28000lb E120B - and it's a good wakeup call to know all the kinds of things that can happen. Seeing stuff like this happen, fatalities or not, will make me less careless believing that I can't possibly slide sideways into that house or down that hill I'm excavating next to. Let some have their cheap thrill and let others have their wake-up calls.

I remember this incident also. I was working at another mine site in the goldfields of W.A where the DT operators fiancee worked. Yes I agree that these can be sensitive photos...... however, very interesting. To the ones who feel sensitive looking at these photos one can only ask "WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT A MINESITE ACCIDENT PHOTO SITE IN THE FIRST PLACE????????? I only ask that can we please keep this site a friendly one? You tube is the place where people get nasty or dissaprove of its content. But for myself.... I find this site interesting. Well done to the person who has the time to keep us updated on the sometimes unfortunate industry we work in.

I totally agree with the person that posted november 15 2011. It is a dangerous industry and come with alot of deaths. Seeing alot of these pictures makes me think i could do these things or these things could happen to me. So make no mistake it does wake you up abit. But then again looking at some of these photos can give you abit of a laugh and make you wonder how the hell can some one do that or be stupid enough to do that.......

Having just finished as a 793 Dumpy Driver after 18 years, I always remember this pic shown to me when I started in the industry. R.I.P to the young lad.
