Wet Haul Roads

And you thought your mine had water issues...

Just something a bit different from the usual rear dumper carnage. This photo comes from the Sanakin mine in Indonesia.

CCI here in the Marquette area [Tilden and Empire mines] just have beaucoup snow and ice in the winter. I have also experienced fog so thick that you could drink it. Remember that Murphy [as in Murphy's law] was an optimist.

SENAKIN site and other mining sites in Indonesia have big issue during wet seasons, having too much water. We had this huge pond (well, based on the size, it can be called a lake) with a lot of coal at the bottom!
